Blue Monday


For the Blue Monday i present you a cross section of the Hermann`s Cave for some reasons you are not allowed to take pics in the cave, not even without flashlight. That`s really sad, because the Cave is amazingly impressive with all the dripstones and crystalline structures. We went almost 50 Minutes through the cave, and we saw less than 1/3 of it all, bcs most parts are not open to the public bcs of the bats etc.

Wir haben die Hermanns Höhle in Rübeland besichtigt, leider durfte man dort auch ohne Blitz nicht fotografieren. Die Höhle ist wirklich unglaublich, riesengroß, unendlich viele Tropfsteine und Krystalline Gebilde, die Iberger Tropfsteinhöhle ist langweilig dagegen. Wir konnten ein Drittel der Höhle besichtigen, der Rest ist für Besucher nicht freigegeben. Leider hatten wir nicht mehr genug Zeit auch noch die Baumanns Höhle zu besuchen, die fast gegenüber liegt, aber das war sicher nicht das letzte Mal das wir im Harz waren.

    1. I think it`s blue, because if it was grey, the white dripstones woudln`t be seen very well... maybe

  3. I bet that would be quite an interesting tour. You can't take photos at the glow-worm caves here, either.
